Saturday, 9 February 2020. Today marks 31 months since Nikki was abducted. I currently have zero contact with him, receive news of his state of wellness or have receive any responses to communications directed at Nikki’s Mom or certain areas of the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice…..there is only a dark void and deafening silence. My attempts to drive the mediation process have been met with further silence and one can only assume that the response I received on 18 October 2019 stating “Ms. XXXXX-XXXXX stated that she did not oppose negotiations through a mediation procedure.” was just another mala fida utterance. Also during the past month there are a number of legal efforts underway in Bulgaria, 1.        In one of them, responses from Nikki’s Mom to the documents I have submitted are along the lines of “…a mixture of not-quite-truths; denials; requests for provision of documentation (which have been provided ad nauseam)..”. Thursday, 9 January 2020 marks 30 months since Nikki’s abduction. Sat 2019/11/02 7:53 AM – I respond notifying the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice that I am not happy that the proposed process is “is devoid of neutrality and disadvantageous to Nicholas and I.”. 9 December 2019, marks 29 months since Nikki’s abduction. I am still 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact and receive no information with regards to his wellbeing. Fri 2019/07/26 1:25 PM – Receive a response that Bulgarian civil servants will be on leave Friday, 26 July 2019 3:52 PM – Request from the South African Department of Justice to the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice “that the negotiations be prioritized”. Mon 2019/08/26 12:03 PM – After requesting an update the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice remind us that are planning and will inform the competent social service in Bulgaria about exploring the possibility of negotiating with the mother about the applicant's contacts with his son.
