Dombey and Son was Charles Dickens's seventh novel, published between 1846 and 1848. My diary tells me that in June 2019 I was working with the Centrum Internationale Kinderontvoering https://kinderontvoering.org/ to try and find a negotiated non-legal way to establish contact with Nikki, my efforts always lead back to the Bulgarian courts.

  Tuesday, 9 May 2023 marks 5 years and 10 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive any news of his wellbeing. Paging through my diary of May 2019, I am reminded of a formal request Nikki's mother made via her lawyers to take Nikki on holdiday to Mauritius after I had declined to give my permission, given my fears of abduction. Nikki's mother had claimed that the holiday would be a wonderful experience for Nikki, they would stay at the Radisson Blu in Port Louis and there would be all sorts of fun activities for Nikki to participate in. On receiving the request my lawyers did some investigation into the Radisson Blu in Port Louis....only to find out that they were an adults only establishment and did not permit children to stay there. I went ahead and tried to make a booking to see for myself....and sure enough, no children allowed...

  Sunday, 9 April 2023 (Easter Weekend) marks 5 years and 9 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive any news of his wellbeing. Parental Alienation is child abuse. During April of 2019, I am in communication with the National Prosecuting Authority… serious crimes have been committed and a child’s welfare hangs in the balance. I am also having more discussions with journalists to write some articles relating to border control in SA. During April, 2019 I have also entered into discussions with the European Court of Human rights about the application I lodged with them. Also in my diary, the Centurion Blues Football Club where I am playing soccer at the time hold   a quiz evening to raise funds for Nikki’s plight, I could never thank my teammates especially Miguel Taylor (work organised the event) enough for this incredible support.

I got sight of an affidavit regarding a complaint Nikki's Mom lodged against a practitioner we had engaged stating amongst other things:   'Ms XXXXXXXXXXXXX lodged a complaint alleging that XXXXXXXX was biased against her and that XXXXXXX disclosed confidential information without her consent. Her complaint was investigated by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Looking at my diary in July 2018: I see my lawyers have made representations to Bulgarian border patrol in an attempt to prevent a further re-abduction to a non-Hague Convention country. I had also tried to have the forensic report generated in South Africa put in front of he Bulgarian court but they refused to accept it, if I remember correctly the reason being that it was presented as evidence in another court case and could not be used again. I am trying to negotiate for a longer time with Nikki than that designated by the court. Wednesday, 9 March 2022 marks 4 years and 8 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. On  24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Although Bulgaria does not share a border with either of these countries, the war is too close for comfort. We pray that peace is rapidly restored. As I page through my diary, the following things were going on: March 2017 I'm working with a psychologist regarding my observations of what is happening around Nikki and receiving guidance around what is best for Nikki in dealing with the environment we are in. I am also still engaged with the child educational psychologist who is preparing his report with recommendations on a parenting plan. I also test concerns around unhealthy alienating behaviour I see developing with the psychologist and after receiving their input, bring them to the attention of the child education...
