Today I was going to write about some of the months leading up to Nikki's abduction but when I started going through my diary, I was reminded how complicated Parental Alienation is. I'll need to sift through tons of records to give even the tinyest glimpse of what Parental Alienation really looks like...it's not just about abduction. I will get to revisiting the details, but for now I continue my struggle to connect with Nikki...   Saterday, 9 December 2023 marks 6 years and 5 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive any news of his wellbeing. During December of 2019 I am writing to the South African Family Advocate asking them to follow up with the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice as they had not responded to my request for a neutral mediator. I am told there appears to be a stalemate, as I have not selected one of the mediators prescribed by the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice.

In October 2019: I am sent a list of mediators in the agreements programming of Sofia Regional Court and Sofia city Court, there is no option of proposing a mediator of neutral disposition. My Bulgarian lawyer writes to me, confirming that they have prepared and will shortly have a filing confirmation for my application for review and setting aside of the decision of the prosecutor, which they prepared......in for a penny in for a pound, I say...... I receive an update from the NPA relating to their investigation into Nikki's abduction.   Also in October I am working with Kinderontvoering.org and Reunite to enlist their mediation services. I'll update how Reunite's engagement with Nikk...

In September of 2019, I am working with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) on crimes related to child abduction. I am also negotiating between the Bulgarian and South African authorities to try and get some sort of contact with Nikki. It's frustratingly slow but I'm on a path at this stage and I have to make peace with a lot of things I cannot influence....

In August of 2019, I am working wi th the Chief Family Advocate & Central Authority for the R.S.A.: International Child Abduction to try and get access to Nikki...Her counterpart in Bulgaria informs us she is on leave from 5-25 August, agonisingly......I have to learn patience and acceptance.
