Thursday, 9 June 2022 marks 4 years and 11 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his wellbeing. Parental Alienation is child abuse. Looking through my diary, I was in Bulgaria again for a Hague court case. I am also emailing my business clients in South Africa asking for some leniency around project deliverables as I am battling with my personal circumstances. Fortunately and I am forever grateful, that they graciously accommodate my ever more  erratic schedule due to monthly Bulgaria trips. I'm also receiving emails from "Little Kickers", a soccer club which I enrolled Nikki at....regrettably I had to inform them that Nikki wouldn't be coming back......they very kindly agree to terminate his contract without any financial penalty to his already badly cash hemorrhaging Dad.   Monday, 9 May 2022 marks 4 years and 10 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his wellbeing. Parental Alienation is child abuse. 9 May 2022 is also celebrated as Victory Day in Russia and given the current situation between Ukraine and Russia, there are expected to be announcements by Russia with regards to their position related to Ukraine. I look on with a sense of nervousness and wonder what the implications for Bulgaria and Nikki could be? From my diary in May 2018, I see that I am preparing for a court ordered meeting with a Bulgarian psychologist where Nikki will be present. I am trying to negotiate for a longer time with Nikki than that designated by the court. I am also working with border control in Bulgaria to prevent Nikki being abducted again, this time out of Bulgaria. Claims are being made  that I made no effort to contact Nikki since his abduction, luckily I kept records ...

 

Saturday, 9 March 2022 marks 4 years and 9 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his well being. During the past month I was grateful to be a case study for training held by the South African Association of Mediators  https://www.saam.org.za/  and titled "Contact Resistance and Refusal (Parental Alienation)". The objective of the session was to address three major questions related to the topic of Parental Alienation 1) How does resistance and refusal negatively impact the childrens and the parents? 2) What could be the possible underlying reasons why a child could resist or refuse to have contact with a parent? 3) How can a mediator successfully assist the families regarding this critical matter? Wednesday, 9 March 2022 marks 4 years and 8 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. On  24 February 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine. Although Bulgaria does not share a border with either of these countries, the war is too close for comfort. We pray that peace is rapidly restored. As I page through my diary, the following things were going on: March 2017 I'm working with a psychologist regarding my observations of what is happening around Nikki and receiving guidance around what is best for Nikki in dealing with the environment we are in. I am also still engaged with the child educational psychologist who is preparing his report with recommendations on a parenting plan. I also test concerns around unhealthy alienating behaviour I see developing with the psychologist and after receiving their input, bring them to the attention of the child education...

In January 2017: Nikki's Mom has made a trip to Poland My lawyers are engaging with Nikki's Mom's third set of lawyers and she is requesting permission to remove him from South Africa  Legal comments note that I am requesting a forensic assessment to determine what Nicholas' best interests are Nikki has his first day at school Engagements with the Educational Psychologist are underway 24 January 2017, I appear in the High Court to defend Nikki's Mom application to remove Nikki from South Africa. My team win and the judge orders Nikki should not leave South Africa In January 2018: I was in discussion with two European organisations who assist with International Child Abductions I am working my lawyers in an attempt to attach Nikki's Mom...

Thursday, 9 December 2021 marks 4 years and 4 month since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. As I look at my calendar for December of 2017, I see I was frantically communicating with the South Africa Chief Family Advocate who was in turn communicating with her Bulgarian counterpart, all the while preparing my legal responses for the Hague Convention application which I had launched to have Nikki returned to South Africa. It was never my intention that Nikki should be returned without his mother, I have always held out that Nikki and his mother should both return to South Africa and that the parenting arrangement as ordered by the High Court be observed. As I look deeper into the calendar of events that were unfolding in December 2017, I see I was preparing a formal response to a Bulgarian social worker's report that was presented to court in Bulgari...

Tuesday, 9 November 2021 marks 4 years and 4 month since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. During the month of October I participated in a number of walks hosted by the Family Life Centre ( https://www.familylife.co.za/ ) for the promotion of mental health awareness. Mental health matters are intimately linked to Parental Alienation and the behaviours of an alienator are not easily understood by the average person.....it takes people with significant education and experience to help one make sense of the phenomenon. The Family Life Centre played an instrumental role in helping me to make sense of and deal with what was happening leading up to and after Nikki's abduction, they offer invaluabe services to families who are caught up in high conflict situations. Saturday, 9 October 2021 marks 4 years and 3 month since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki and receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. During September, I made progress on both the initiatives which I mentioned in my previous post. The first one resulted in an interview process for me which although moving along slowly, is making progress and I'm hopeful that this will be another step forward in the direction of lifting the lid on this terrible phenomenon called "Parental Alienation" .  The second initiative also has yielded positive results with my initial proposal around, well let's just call it a "social initiative related to Parental Alienation" being accepted.  I don't feel that the time is right to speak in more detail about either of the initiatives but as I reach certain milestones, I'll hopefully be able to share some good news.
