4 Years and 12 Months too long...

 Saturday, 9 July 2022 marks 4 years and 12 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his wellbeing. Parental Alienation is child abuse.

Looking at my diary in July 2018: I see my lawyers have made representations to Bulgarian border patrol in an attempt to prevent a further re-abduction to a non-Hague Convention country. I had also tried to have the forensic report generated in South Africa put in front of he Bulgarian court but they refused to accept it, if I remember correctly the reason being that it was presented as evidence in another court case and could not be used again. This was a huge setback as that report was very detailed and very telling. I am also discussing with my lawyer to present Nikki's Mom with my intended itinerary for trips to see Nikki in Bulgaria. My attempts to work with Nikki's Mom in this regard proved to be a huge mistake as you'll see in later posts where I talk about the deliberate attempts to prevent me seeing Nikki while I am in Bulgaria. My lawyers are correctly advising in this regard and note I am under no obligation to do this....One scores no points for being good natured.

Today I managed to see Nikki at the Social Assistance Directorate Lozenets (SSD Lozenets), Sofia, Bulgaria. Logistics have been a nightmare and I was told that the meeting is a favour to me as the court has not supplied SSD Lozenets with a protocol document after the hearing on 15 June. There has been unresolved confusion regarding whether a protocol document was required or not.....so I simply got on the plane and went....

Despite what was reported by the court appointed psychologist at the hearing on 15 June (".., I am categorically of the opinion that if the child was the target of violence on the part of the father, he would have manifested fear or resentment in any manner, which was not observed during the meeting"), Nikki's brainwashing continues...Perhaps I am naive but it is hard for me to understand this unrelenting onslaught, even though "the game is essentially up"....

Nikki sat on my lap for the 95% of the time, I got a whole lot of cuddles, a kiss, a hug and was told "You are a cool Dad!".....The experience was beyond amazing, despite the hostile environment (it was my interpreter, Nikki and I with 3 people from SSD Lozenets, Nikki's mother and her 23 year old son in the room and Nikki's mother's parents sitting in the car right outside the door...talk about being surrounded)!
