 Sunday, 9 October 2022 marks 5 years and 3 months since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his wellbeing. Notes from my diary tell me that I was back to Bulgaria for another court case. For this particular court appearance I was working with my lawyers to see if we could bring Nikki's au pair over to Bulgaria as a witness. In the affidavits to the court the Nikki's Mom is citing grave risk of harm if Nikki is retuned to South Africa and I am working through mountains of crime stats in South Africa to try and defend against this argument... I find amongst my September emails this one below: given that it took me roughly 25 hours to get from my home to Sofia at a cost of around R20,000.00 and although I tried, this schedule was impossible to keep. There is a lot of back and forth between my lawyers and I where I am trying to get a translation of the protocol. From my diary, I can see in August, 2018 that I am working with the Child Abduction Center in the Netherlands who are in direct communication with my Bulgarian lawyers. My lawyers also sent me an email saying that Nikki's return to South Africa has been ordered by the Bulgaria court in The Hague matter. I also go to visit Nikki at SSD Lozenets (in Bulgaria) but I am told he is ill and he doesn't attend the visit, I ask my lawyers to correspond with Nikki's Mom's lawyers to find out what is
