9 June 2019, Enclosed is a lovely picture of Nikki demonstrating to his much loved Granny (my Mom) how his Birthday present works…. Today mark 23 month since Nikki’s abduction. To date I still have no contact, news, updates or any information with regard to Nikki……he is being hidden behind an “iron curtain”. It has now been well over a months since a formal “inter government” request for contact with Nikki was sent from the office of the Chief Family Advocate in South Africa to the Bulgarian Central Authority (for Hague Convention matters), the Bulgarian Central Authority has to date not acknowledged receipt of the request…….The recipient of the request is the same person whom is my designated representative in the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice and who appeared on television with Nikki’s mother and her lawyer, in what seemed to be a demonstration of solidarity with them. Thursday, 9 May 2019 Today Marks 22 months since Nikki’s abduction. The ever-present pain never goes away but it has become a source motivation for me to channel my energies deeper into protecting Nikki’s bet interests and using his story to prevent other children and parents from suffering under the cruelty of parental alienation. This month saw me kicking off a number of interesting initiatives which I will be updating you about over the coming months, if the journey wasn’t so painful…..I might venture to call it quite exiting. May 1, 2019 Microsoft and The George Clooney Foundation for Justice are working on a revolutionary piece of technology that would have been able to assist with my own experiences of international child abduction and appearing in a court where I could not understand the language and was represented by an interpreter. An app of this nature will help to lift the veil of shame and silence under which human rights violations are effected and empower the complainant to keep track of developmen ts, ask the right questions and present the right facts to a court....It's a brilliant initiative that parents of abducted children might be able to leverage to protect their children's rights. Today marks 21 months since Nikki's abduction. 100% alienation is still enforced by his Mom and I have no contact him or receive no updates with regards to Nikki's well being or developmental milestones...The gifts which I bought Nikki in this picture have huge significance and despite the smiles, have a very sad undertone......but I'll talk about that at a later point in time.... This month saw me doing some interesting things which included participating in two parental alienation studies, one of them for a major American University. Not only was I able to contribute to the studies but they opened my (already curious) eyes to how damaging parental alienation is, not only to the child but to the families, extended families & friends of the children and parents who are affected.....parental alienation is a societal problem.
