Вторник, 9 ноември 2021 г., се навършват 4 години и 4 месеца, откакто Ники беше отвлечена в София, България. Днес съм 100% отчужден от Ники, нямам контакт или не получавам новини за неговото здраве. Родителското отчуждение е насилие над деца. През месец октомври участвах в редица разходки, организирани от Центъра за семейния живот (https://www.familylife.co.za/) за насърчаване на информираността за психичното здраве. Въпросите за психичното здраве са тясно свързани с родителското отчуждение и поведението на отчуждителя не се разбира лесно от обикновения човек.....необходими са хора със значително образование и опит, за да помогнат на човек да разбере явлението. Центърът за семейния живот изигра важна роля, за да ми помогне да осмисля и да се справя с това, което се случваше преди и след отвличането на Ники, те предлагат безценни услуги на семейства, които са попаднали в тежки конфликтни ситуации. Tuesday, 9 November 2021 marks 4 years and 4 month since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact or receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. During the month of October I participated in a number of walks hosted by the Family Life Centre ( https://www.familylife.co.za/ ) for the promotion of mental health awareness. Mental health matters are intimately linked to Parental Alienation and the behaviours of an alienator are not easily understood by the average person.....it takes people with significant education and experience to help one make sense of the phenomenon. The Family Life Centre played an instrumental role in helping me to make sense of and deal with what was happening leading up to and after Nikki's abduction, they offer invaluabe services to families who are caught up in high conflict situations. Saturday, 9 October 2021 marks 4 years and 3 month since Nikki was abducted to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki and receive no news of his well being. Parental Alienation is child abuse. During September, I made progress on both the initiatives which I mentioned in my previous post. The first one resulted in an interview process for me which although moving along slowly, is making progress and I'm hopeful that this will be another step forward in the direction of lifting the lid on this terrible phenomenon called "Parental Alienation" .  The second initiative also has yielded positive results with my initial proposal around, well let's just call it a "social initiative related to Parental Alienation" being accepted.  I don't feel that the time is right to speak in more detail about either of the initiatives but as I reach certain milestones, I'll hopefully be able to share some good news.

Отчуждението на родителите е насилие над деца. През септември постигнах напредък и в двете инициативи, които споменах в предишния си пост. Първият доведе до процес на интервю за мен, който макар и бавно да върви напред, напредва и се надявам, че това ще бъде още една крачка напред в посока на вдигане на капака на този ужасен феномен, наречен „Отчуждението на родителите“. Втората инициатива също даде положителни резултати, тъй като първоначалното ми предложение беше наоколо, нека просто го наречем "социална инициатива, свързана с отчуждението на родителите". Не смятам, че е подходящият момент да говоря по -подробно за някоя от инициативите, но тъй като достигна определени етапи, надявам се, че ще мога да споделя някои добри новини.

August and early September saw me kicking off two new initiatives related to my struggle to reestablish my relationship with Nikki...I'm hoping that in my coming posts I'll be able to talk about my progress, but it's early days now and as with anything where you stick your neck out......the chances are high that things could implode at any given moment. But I am used to that and up for the challenge,  over the course of this awful saga...picking myself up off the floor has become commonplace and nothing more than a "blip on the radar" for me.   На 9 септември 2021 г., четвъртък, се навършват 4 години и 2 месеца, откакто Ники е отвлечен в София, България. Днес съм 100% отчужден от Ники и не получавам никакви новини за неговото благополучие и опитите ми да се свържа с него бяха отхвърлени от майка му и нейното близко семейство. Отчуждението на родителите е насилие над деца. През август и началото на септември започнах две нови инициативи, свързани с борбата ми да възстановя връзката си с Ники ... Надявам се, че в следващите си публикации ще мога да говоря за напредъка си, но сега са първите дни и както при всяко нещо, при което изпъвате врата си ... шансовете са високи, че всеки момент може да се взриви. Но аз съм свикнал с това и съм готов за предизвикателството, в хода на тази ужасна сага ... да се вдигна от пода се превърна в обичайно място и за мен не е нищо повече от „проблясък на радара“. Гордея се със себе си, че направих първите стъпки ... Трябваше да копая наистина дълбоко, но открих резервите и "Rolling Stone...

Monday, 9 August 2021 marks 4 years and 1 month since Nikki's abduction to Sofia, Bulgaria. Today I am 100% alienated from Nikki and receive no news of his well being and my attempts to contact him are rejected by his mother. Parental Alienation is child abuse. In South Africa, August is Women’s Month - and each year August 9th is celebrated as Women’s Day. Women's Day celebrates the strength and resilience of women and their contribution to society and country. During the past month Nikki lost a cousin, once removed to the COVID virus. At his memorial service, my cousin's two sons spoke of their profound love and deep pain at the loss of their father...their eulogies were a harsh reminder to the profound influence a father has on the lives of his son's and the tremendous void which is left when he departs. Rest In Peace my dear cousin (and Nikki's cousin, once removed) Wayne. Also during the past month I worked more on the book which will be "Nikki's Story...
