9 December 2019, marks 29 months since Nikki’s abduction. I am still 100% alienated from Nikki, have no contact and receive no information with regards to his wellbeing. Saturday, 9 November 2019 marks 28 months since Nikki’s abduction. I look through my records and find a formal application (in Bulgarian) for contact with Nikki signed by me on 22 April 2019, in between the appeal judgement and lodging the application I lost 3 months scrambling around trying to find out how to kick-start this process. Today it is 9 November 2019 and this is where we are at….. Mon 2019/08/26 12:26 PM: The Bulgarian Ministry of Justice advised me that they were planning to inform the competent social service in Bulgaria about exploring the possibility of negotiating with the Nikki’s mother about contact for me with Nikki. Saturday, 19 October 2019 On October 17, 2019, the Bulgarian central authority (Ministry of Justice) received information from the social service in Sofia, whom they engaged with regards to me visiting Nikki. Nikki’s Mom stated that she did not oppose negotiations through a mediation procedure (from a legal perspective opposing it would have been a dreadful move, no matter what her pathological state). The proposal to me, is if I agree to participate in a mediation procedure, then it is proposed (by the Bulgaria Ministry of Justice/Central Authority) that the  mediation be carried out at the Family Mediation Center in Sofia,Bulgaria and they will supply a list of mediators…..The Bulgarian Ministry of Justice will not answer any questions related to the mediation and I would need to speak to the mediator about costs and travel (you can see why Nikki’s Mom would agree to these terms of mediation). 9 October 2019 Today 9 October 2019 marks 27 Months since Nikki’s abduction. Below is the last communication received from Bulgaria and are other communications which it relates to. Today, 19 October 2019 I received a request from the Bulgarian Central Authority not so share their communications and am therefore deleting the content (I am glad to hear they are watching my social media posts and they have resulted in some action). Dates below are indicative of the amount of time which has elapsed while communicating with the Bulgarian Central Authority and do not even go back as far the when the request for contact commenced. 9 September 2019 When the Child Protection Department (SSD Lozenets, Sofia, Bulgaria) told the court that "the child runs away from the father", they forgot about this video on the first and only visit that was successful at SSD Lozenets. 9 August 2019: Today marks 25 months since Nikki's abduction – The struggle to just get some form of contact with him is ongoing and to date I receive no news of his wellbeing or any communication about him whatsoever. Messages from myself or my family to Nikki’s Mom or her family go unacknowledged or responded to… Communication with the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice is ongoing but at a painfully slow pace and despite comments to them from the South African authorities to the effect of: ·          " The fact that the child ran away when he saw the father could very well be the result of parental alienation, but it seems this element was not tested by the court.” ·          “It should be noted that due to the child’s tender age, the prolonged lack of contact will occasion estrangement of the father-son relationship. 9 July 2019 Today marks 24 months since Nikki's abduction. The struggle to just get some form of contact with him is ongoing and to date I receive no news of his well being or any communication about him whatsoever. The last communication from the Bulgarian Ministry of Justice was that they were prepared to mediate between Nikki's Mom and I for a voluntary settlement but if she disagreed there is nothing further they could do and I would need to approach a Bulgarian court.......

Thursday, 9 May 2019 Today Marks 22 months since Nikki’s abduction. The ever-present pain never goes away but it has become a source motivation for me to channel my energies deeper into protecting Nikki’s bet interests and using his story to prevent other children and parents from suffering under the cruelty of parental alienation. May 1, 2019 Microsoft and The George Clooney Foundation for Justice are working on a revolutionary piece of technology that would have been able to assist with my own experiences of international child abduction and appearing in a court where I could not understand the language and was represented by an interpreter. An app of this nature will help to lift the veil of shame and silence under which human rights violations are effected and empower the complainant to keep track of developmen ts, ask the right questions and present the right facts to a court....It's a brilliant initiative that parents of abducted children might be able to leverage to protect their children's rights. Today marks 21 months since Nikki's abduction. 100% alienation is still enforced by his Mom and I have no contact him or receive no updates with regards to Nikki's well being or developmental milestones...The gifts which I bought Nikki in this picture have huge significance and despite the smiles, have a very sad undertone......but I'll talk about that at a later point in time.... This month saw me doing some interesting things which included participating in two parental alienation studies, one of them for a major American University. Not only was I able to contribute to the studies but they opened my (already curious) eyes to how damaging parental alienation is, not only to the child but to the families, extended families & friends of the children and parents who are affected.....parental alienation is a societal problem. I had set up a schedule to confirm which Friday's I wou ld be in Bulgaria and provided it via my lawyers to Nikki's Mom in the hopes of fostering a constructive co-parenting environment. Never-the-less, I didn't want to leave anything to chance after the relevant confirmations were done and appeared there in person. For some reason the Social Centre phoned Nikki's mother, who informed them that Nikki is ill and he will not be attending today's meeting. When I returned at 12:00, I was informed that a doctor's letter had been received from Nikki's Mom in the past 5 minutes...... Today I managed to see Nikki at the Social Assistance Directorate Lozenets (SSD Lozenets), Sofia, Bulgaria. Logistics have been a nightmare and I was told that the meeting is a favour to me as the court has not supplied SSD Lozenets with a protocol document after the hearing on 15 June. There has been unresolved confusion regarding whether a protocol document was required or not…..so I simply got on the plane and went…. Despite what was reported by the court appointed psychologist at the hearing on 15 June (“.., I am categorically of the opinion that if the child was the target of violence on the part of the father, he would have manifested fear or resentment in any manner, which was not observed during the meeting”), Nikki’s brainwashing continues…Perhaps I am naive but it is hard for me to understand this unrelenting onslaught, even though “the game is essentially up”….
